Qualities according to the manufacturer:
A sparkly and deep garnet colour. The nose is medium intense, elegant and attractive, multi-layered, displaying ripe red fruits, sweet spices, dark chocolate, eucalyptus and smoke. The wine has a powerful body. The taste is concentrated, tight and at the same time juicy, balanced and soft. Again, ripe red fruit with a jam tone, spices, smoke and chocolate. The oak is harmoniously integrated, the tannins are suede. The wine has a long aftertaste with a smooth and warm finish. It has aging potential in the bottle.

Qualities according to MEIK 98 (2013):
... A wine with a character, concentrated fruit, velvety tannins and exceptional elegance. A saturated dark ruby ​​colour with a garnet hue. A harmonious and concentrated pattern of ripe red fruit, blackcurrant, spices, jam, smoke, chocolate, mocha and honey. Rich, thick, very soft and elegant. The taste features ripe red fruits, blackcurrant, spices, jam, smoke, chocolate; the integrated oak is a proof of the high quality of the wine. A long, lingering finish and a mineral aftertaste. A truly memorable wine.

Assessment of DiVino (October 2011):
A vivid, sparkly dark ruby colour with garnet reflections. A restrained, multi-layered and elegant nose with a fine accent of lily, marzipan, blackcurrant liqueur, croissant with butter, chocolate and a salty note. A round body with an excellent, fine but tight texture with satin tannins and a long finish with a memory of iodine and coffee. This wine can age. An outstanding wine, a classic in its style (91 р.).

Qualities and assessment according to The Catalogue of Bulgarian Wine for 2013:
A garnet colour with a brick tint; a fine complex nose with nuances of dark chocolate, almond, white flowers; a velvety body and long finish with a hint of cocoa. An outstanding wine.

Comment of Vinobg:
We agree with Parker’s rating, but we used “I’m speechless” (or sometimes more colourful expressions) to express our assessment. We did not know that it equalled 90 points on his scale.
