Tohun From Black Sea Coast Red 2011

Quality and ratings according to the producer:
The wine is produced from hand-picked, well-ripened grapes from the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot sorts from our own vineyard, which is located in the region around Pomorie (2 – 3 kilometers from the wine cellar).
Tasting notes:
Colour: deep colour with crimson hues.
Aroma: piquant, attractive nose with earthy notes, red forest fruit and spices.
Flavour: rounded, with fresh red fruit, fine oak, leather and musk. Harmonious and long finish. The wine shows potential to age. It will be better if it is opened after a year – or even two – of aging.

Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon with an intense terracotta-red colour. The nose possesses classic noble development, with notes of dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, mint, cherry liqueur, sweet spices and sweet black fruit. The body is medium to full, with perceptible mature, finely granular tannins and a hint of sweet dried fruit, dried tomato and leather in the finish. Excellent for immediate consumption! An exceptional wine with its own classic style (91 pts.).
