Very beautiful, opaque, dark ruby colour with lightly varying hues. Deep, complex nose with notes of small black fruit, leather, butter, dried meat with red pepper and cinnamon. Tight, rounded and blended body with excellent, mature tannins and a smoky, smooth, noble finish. A concentrated wine with potential (2019-2023). An exceptional wine with its own classic style (92 pts.). 5th place in DiVino’s rankings for 2018.
Many people stand behind the success of Domaine Bessa Valley; they have worked for years with all their heart and soul to allow the Enira brand to make its mark so convincingly over the years. Yet this is where we must say that the foundation for this excellent, plushy smooth and captivating Syrah has been set by the winery’s team, led by Ivaylo Antonov, oenologist Svetlozar Dzhurov and long-time consultant Marc Dworkin. The investment and ownership is shared between the French Count Stephan von Neipperg, German Dr. Karl Hauptmann and their Bulgarian partners Ivo Evgeniev and Spas Shopov. We will complete our presentation of this renowned Bulgarian Syrah with the words of a famous French vintner: “The wine business is actually very pleasant; it’s only the first 200 years that are difficult.”

Intense ruby colour with lustre; intriguing, multi-layered nose with notes of blueberry juice, smoke, fog and smoked meat; voluminous body with mature tannins and the preserved sense of black forest fruit and white pepper; long, smoky finish with a hint of meat. An exceptional wine.

Syrah 2015 has a deep and dense ruby-red colour. The nose reveals characteristic aromas of toast, leather, ripe fruit and asphalt, boasts a gorgeous balance after having aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. The flavor is multi-layered, rich and sumptuous. Fruity, crisp and rounded in the mouth, Syrah 2015 has a clearly expressed structure, which is emphasized by potent and distinctive tannins. The finish is pleasant and very long. Captivating with its harmony and gradually revealed potential. 90/100 pts.
